“Grow Wild” Garden Club
“Grow Wild” Garden Club
The Twin Oaks “Grow Wild” Garden Club was our first Member-led Club, born in 2020. In the beginning, our events were held virtually, we shared garden recipes, and delivered herb planting kits with personalized “how-to” instructions written by our club leaders, Pat Slatten and Diane Collins. The club has evolved since 2020 to include offsite Garden Tours of “niche” locations along the Central Coast. Each spectacular garden tour includes home and garden shopping followed by a Dutch luncheon somewhere special with all the guests. Join us and explore inspiring gardens, take a garden class, shop for home & garden decor, and make new friends!

The Brew Crew Club
The Brew Crew Club
The first month Member John D. moved into the community, he was eager to begin an educational-style club that would provide a learning experience for all who joined. He succeeded! From fermentation to brewing and bottling, this group keeps the science top of mind with each event. The Brew club is an interactive resource for learning, experimenting, and meeting like-minded folks passionate about zymurgy (a branch of applied chemistry that deals with fermentation processes, as in wine making or brewing). The club typically meets monthly to brew, bottle, boil, and ferment for future tastings. Occasionally for more exploration, the club will share private collections of whiskeys and other spirits, and will include offsite trips to local breweries, hop farms, as well as hosting tasting parties. Offsite trips are scheduled with a designated driver. The club meets monthly. See you at the next meetup!

Please bring inspiring refreshments to share! All are welcome.
The Culinary Club
The Culinary Club
Exploring local restaurants from the Central Coast and surrounding areas makes this club one for the “foodies” and folks who love sharing good times, fine wines, and delicious dishes with new friends from the Twin Oaks Community. Members gather and meet-up or carpool to a designated dining location for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Social connections and some of the best friendships are made around the table enjoying a special meal. Invite a new neighbor, select a restaurant of the month, or simply join the club. Great memories have been made at some spectacular locations that overlook the ocean or the perfect mountain view. If you are new to the area, this is a great way to discover new places to dine for the best in San Benito County and local eateries.
